Double Bar Buckle

A set of double bar buckles from 1/2 to 1 inch in width. The double bar allows strap to be attached to the center separate bar.

These buckles functions a little differently than most of our buckles. They feature an additional bar in the center, so the leather does not have to be punched for the tongue, nor does it pass over the tongue.

You can see the way it functions in two of the photos above, in which I quickly attached a piece of scrap leather (just click on the thumbnails for a larger image).

This buckle works very well for small pieces in which you are using a light leather or a fabric, especially watch bands or bracelets. It is highly polished nickel, and has a unique sharp look!
